Description

The BMW X5M and X6M deliver blistering performance straight from the factory-but decent sound isn’t enough for an SUV with this much power. At Valvetronic Designs we’ve engineered the ultimate Valved system to unlock the raw motorsport-inspired tone that these platforms truly deserve.

Connecting to either stock or aftermarket free-flow downpipes our system runs a full 3.0-inch diameter from inlet to outlet flowing unrestricted all the way to the tips. A centrally mounted X-pipe merges exhaust pulses for a harmonized high-energy tone as the revs climb.

Through our development testing we found that an unresonated configuration produces the most raw and exciting character with crisp gear-change snaps and a more engaging overall tone.

Installation Notes

• Direct Bolt on installation cutting or welding required
• Note for S55 Owners: On free-flow/race downpipes 2k rpm rasp may be present during low-rpm shifts
• For the most refined tone we recommend high-flow (200 cell) catalytic converters
